How is a Brow Lift Performed?

This treatment involves an incision made across the scalp, between the ears, just inside, or at, the hairline. To achieve a reduced appearance of wrinkles, selected muscles are removed and certain facial tissue is released. Excess skin is then removed at the incision line and the forehead skin is re-draped. This procedure can be performed alone, or with other facial procedures.

Healing and Recovery

Swelling and bruising are present for 10 to 14 days post-surgery and a full recovery can be expected in 2 weeks post-surgery. Limited exposure to the sun for several weeks, as well as sun protection, are advised.
