There is no limit to how many areas can be treated in one liposuction session. Most sessions tend to include a maximum of three to four areas. However, regardless of the number of areas treated, most plastic surgeons generally limit fat removal to five litres per session for the patient’s safety
When you gain weight, fat cells increase in size and volume. In turn, liposuction reduces the number of fat cells in a specific area. The amount of fat removed depends on the appearance of the area and the volume of fat. The resulting contour changes are generally permanent — as long as your weight remains stable
“Will the fat grow back?”
Once the fat is removed from an area, it does not grow back. The fat cells that remain can get bigger with weight gain because there are fewer fat cells in the treated area (as compared to before the procedure). Other areas of your body which were not treated may appear to increase in size.
Liposuction is not a fat loss method but rather getting rid of stubborn fat that with training is not possible.
