Body contouring, or VASER 4D body sculpting, refers to the use of liposuction techniques to sculpt and shape stubborn fat deposits of the abdomen, back, lower body and arms. VASER stands for ‘Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance.’ This technique of liposuction uses ultrasound waves to break up and liquefy fat cells, making them easier to extract.
Is Liposuction for Me?
Liposuction works best for patients no more than 10 to 15 kg’s over their goal weight. Applicable to the cheeks, jowls, neck, upper arms, breast/chest, back, abdomen/waistline, hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs, knees, calves and ankles.
How is Liposuction Performed?
Vaser Liposuction combines ultrasound with conventional liposuction to ‘melt’ fatty deposits before extracting them for less traumatic injury to the skin and surrounding tissues and a smoother even texture.
Healing and Recovery
The treated areas will be bruised and tender for the first few weeks, residual swelling may persist for a few months, but normal routines can be resumed 2 weeks post-surgery. Avoid vigorous activities, exercise/sport for 4 weeks post-procedure.
